Absolutely delicious! So thrilled to have Nala Restaurant open in Gloucester, bringing fantastic Kerala cuisine to the area. We had an amazing meal, with the food tasting incredibly authentic.
A special shoutout goes to the Beef Tawa roast and the Chatty Biryani – both were truly outstanding and packed with flavour. The Kerala Porotta and the Appam were also perfect.
To top it all off, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better.
I highly recommend everyone try this place for a genuine taste of Kerala cuisine!

Great place for Kerala food. We visited this place on 19th Oct and had a great time. The restaurant has nice seating arrangement as well.as spacious private hall available for a small group of people for a gathering & party. Their menu reflects numerous options. We tried Beef Tawa roast with porotta & garlic Nan, which is a great combo to try. Starter chicken 65 and they served some delicious dips are awesome. Staff Mr. Netto is enthusiastic to serve the customer and he has a good customer care / support manners. Masala dosa was crispy., however butter chicken was average. Overall the service and food is great. A good spot for Malayalees to spend time for an evening dinner. Monday is holiday for them.

Delicious and different. Beautifully prepared dishes that you may not have had before. For example, I started with Pazhampori Beef – a beef curry with banana fritters! All of the food was superb and the service was impeccable too. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We had such a chatty server who was welcoming and knew every dish like the back of his hand. Food was very different to what I normally have but it all had great textures, flavours and smells. I definitely recommend the egg masala!

I came here with my husband for dinner on our first night here in Gloucester. We really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious and the service was fast. We ordered Malabar Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Noodles, Kerala Porotta with Beef Tawa Roast, and tea (lime and regular) — everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The biriyani had that perfect Malabar touch with aromatic rice and tender chicken, while the beef tawa roast was rich, spicy, and went perfectly with the soft porottas. The chicken noodles were flavourful too, and both teas were refreshing and nicely brewed.
The service was friendly and quick, and the ambience was clean and comfortable, giving a homely feel. Overall, a great spot for anyone craving authentic South Indian food — highly recommended! 🌿🍛

First time trying, really good starters. We will be coming again for mains. Pappadom – different selections of pappadom with 3 sauces. Mint, mango and beetroot. Very creative and different.
Chicken cutlet – 2 cutlet, nicely seasoned with some salad. Pani puri – very nice with good amount of filling and refreshing pani. Love the presentation. Sweet corn fritter chat – very nice, different type of chat and good portion to share. Mango pannakota – so creamy and perfect for the sweet tastebuds. Must try Masala chai – very milky and well seasoned. Worth it for the amount you get. Aesthetic interior, good service and environment. Very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
All halal menu, it’s not just about the food but there is lot of experience and knowledge behind it all. They know what they are doing and how to give customers a good experience. Highly recommend this place. Really nice to see authentic food from other places in India.
